Role Summary


As a Client Partner at Pinterest, you will be a strategic visionary, building trusted relationships with top-tier clients through your expertise in full-funnel sales. You will independently manage assigned accounts, promote Pinterest products, meet performance targets, develop new business, and expand customer relationships. Your role is crucial in driving value for millions of Pinners and forming strategic alliances internally and externally. Success depends on your ability to generate revenue growth and envision long-term client success in a collaborative, dynamic environment.

What you'll do:


  1. Strategic Vision and Partnership Building
    • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies covering awareness, consideration, conversion, and retention for top-tier clients, driving measurable results.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with client and agency stakeholders, including C-suite, Investment, Strategy, and Activation teams, through educational summits, strategy sessions, and QBRs.
    • Create and implement strategic business plans to increase revenue on Pinterest, securing buy-in from stakeholders and driving accountability. Focus on year-over-year growth and annual deal negotiations.
    • Demonstrate executive presence, understanding client businesses deeply, including macro trends, business goals, KPIs, and opportunities to challenge the status quo and think critically.
  2. Product Expertise and Market Influence
    • Serve as a product expert, providing guidance on digital ecosystems and Pinterest's ad offerings, focusing on both upper and lower funnel formats, staying updated on industry trends.
    • Develop tailored media strategies based on industry insights to meet business objectives, promoting adoption and scaling Pinterest's performance media solutions.
  3. Internal and External Collaboration
    • Lead negotiations and develop joint business plans to align with partner goals, mobilizing cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges.
    • Drive business growth by analyzing partner objectives, delivering insights, and crafting compelling narratives for media strategies.
  4. Champion Pinterest's Value
    • Promote Pinterest’s value proposition by showcasing impactful ad metrics and positioning Pinterest as a key media channel.
    • Identify and communicate opportunities for growth, working closely with clients to expand partnerships.

What we are looking for:


  • Ad Tech and Digital Advertising Expertise: Deep understanding of full-funnel advertising solutions, including media and measurement for brand, consideration, and conversion. Knowledge in search, shopping, display, and social is a plus.
  • Strong Consultative and Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to develop long-term partnerships and negotiate agreements effectively, ensuring mutual satisfaction.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to leverage insights, macro trends, and performance data to drive revenue growth.
  • Goal and Result-Oriented Approach: Consistently achieving revenue targets while balancing short-term and long-term growth, with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills: Thrive in fast-paced environments, uphold high standards, and foster teamwork.
  • Bachelor's degree in digital media, SaaS sales, or equivalent experience.

In-Office Requirement:

  • Role requires in-person collaboration once a week in a commute-ready location from Chicago, IL; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Los Angeles, CA.
