Qualifications

  • HCPC registration as a clinical scientist in the field of radiotherapy physics is mandatory.
  • Experience in LDR brachytherapy is essential for this role.
  • Candidates should be able to submit an MPE portfolio within 6-12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Medical Physics Expert in Brachytherapy and External Beam Radiotherapy.
  • Manage the Brachytherapy service and be the primary point of contact for clinicians.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements in radiation protection.

Skills

HCPC registration as a clinical scientist in radiotherapy physics
Experience in LDR brachytherapy
Ability to act as an RPS
