Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Stockport seeks a Principal Pharmacist to deliver clinical pharmacy services in antimicrobial therapy, working closely with the microbiology team. The successful candidate will need to be a registered pharmacist, possess a postgraduate diploma in pharmacy practice, and have experience in clinical settings. This role demands excellent organizational skills and the ability to provide effective training for staff. The salary range is £55,690 to £62,682 per annum, pro rata.

Qualifications

  • Registered Pharmacist with necessary qualifications.
  • Experience in clinical pharmacy services within a UK NHS hospital.
  • Experience in delivering training and education.

Responsibilities

  • Work jointly with Microbiologists and Antimicrobial Team.
  • Prescribe as appropriate for patients within competence.
  • Provide training for medical and pharmacy staff.

Education

Registered Pharmacist with General Pharmaceutical Council
Mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice
