We are looking for an enthusiastic and personable team member to join Talbots as a Trusts and Estates Lawyer. To be successful, you will be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive and have had at least 1 year of post-qualified experience.

As a Trusts and Estates Lawyer, you will be expected to undertake a full range of wills, trusts and estates work on behalf of private clients whilst being involved with business development activities.

What the job includes:

  • To grow and manage a varied caseload advising clients on a full range of associated matters across the Trusts and Estates portfolio.
  • Drafting and reviewing documents and advising on a range of matters to include wills, powers of attorney, estate administration, Deeds of Variation and trust related work.
  • Support colleagues within the department, liaising with existing and new clients, working efficiently, effectively and professionally.

What you need:

  • To be either a Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with relevant working experience within a Trusts & Estates Department;
  • Passionate about providing outstanding client care and service.
  • Accurate and articulate in written and spoken communication with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent administrative, planning, organisation and time management as well as being proficient in a variety of IT software, including all MS Office applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills.
