Job summary

A property recruitment agency is seeking a Land Buyer for a property development company in Woking. This role involves assisting Land Managers in appraising potential sites for acquisition and identifying new opportunities for residential development. You will need a relevant degree and preferably experience in planning or development, along with strong IT, written, and communication skills. The position requires site visits and compliance with legal matters, making attention to detail vital.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a land, planning or development role with a housebuilder or residential developer.
  • Valid driving licence is necessary.

Job description

Caralex Recruitment Limited have been asked to recruit a Land Buyer for a property development company that covers Kent and the surrounding counties.

The role will entail supporting and working closely with Land and Development Managers as they appraise and manage potential new sites for acquisition, and to also identify further new sites yourself for the company to consider as future residential development projects.

This will include :

  • general assistance and administration in preparation of land bids.
  • visiting potential sites and attending land meetings and reporting on these as required.
  • assisting with legal & planning matters and liaising with external consultants (such as solicitors, planning consultants, architects) and other internal departments and staff.

You will be a confident IT user, have good written and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.

You will hold a degree in Real Estate / Land Management / Land & Property / Planning / Urban Planning, and a valid driving licence.

After graduating, you will have preferably worked in a land, planning or development role with a housebuilder / residential developer, housing association or similar property related business that buys land to develop new build homes.
