Biolyz is offering saliva-based biomarker testing service. We provide daily saliva testing with a 24h turnaround time for over 125+ biomarkers. We leverage biomarkers to predict injuries and performance for professional athletes and teams.

Biolyz HQ is based in Austria, we collaborate with international top football clubs and high-level sports organisations, offering a fast-paced, innovative environment where your expertise can have a real impact.

Company Overview:

We are a fast expanding startup with expertise in biomarker analysis, serving to augment sports performance and optimise health. We are actively seeking for laboratory technicians to help us with sample preparation in London and to bring their unique blend of talents to our dynamic team.

Your Responsibilities
  • Sample preparation in a state-of-the-art laboratory with number of automated processes
  • Handling and processing biological samples according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Active contribution to laboratory quality management system
  • Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment used in sample preparation, including liquid handlers
  • Record keeping of experiments conducted in the laboratory
  • Working in shifts with variable working hours and weekend duties
Your Profile
  • Highly precise and meticulous working style
  • Strong time management skills and efficient task organisation
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks , with a high level of focus and endurance
  • Ability to complete tasks in short notice
  • Completed training as a laboratory technician with relevant experience or
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Bioanalytics, or a related field
  • Experience with Perkin Elmer liquid handlers is desirable

The pay range for this role is:
