You will contribute to various lab tasks, including analytical testing, equipment calibration, and supporting stability studies in a collaborative environment. Qualifications

  • Experience in a testing or pharma manufacturing lab.

Laboratory Technician

Cambridge

Temporary

Immediate start until end Nov 2025

Mon-Fri, 37.5 hour per week

Scope of the role:

You’ll be supporting a small but busy team of Scientists and Quality professionals with duties such as water and raw materials testing, cleaning and preparing the lab equipment, environmental monitoring tasks and recording and supporting with stability testing.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Analytical testing of water and samples (Microbiological; swabbing, endotox, TOC) for environmental monitoring and recording on the quality system.
  • Calibration and servicing of lab equipment and instruments.
  • Maintaining and managing the stock system, ordering supplies.
  • Supporting the team with stability testing studies and recording data.
  • Carry out inspection/metrology and test programmes to initiate the release of incoming materials.
  • Assist the team with manufacturing cycles, work to existing SOPs and support creation of new and improved SOPs in accordance with ISO 13485 and GMP.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly working environment, adherent to Health and Safety policy.

Your background:

  • You will have worked in an Industry Lab in either a testing or pharma manufacturing environment.
  • Ideally you will have a Microbiology background, particularly related to micro-testing.
  • You will bring excellent communication skills, a collaborative nature and a can-do approach.
  • You have excellent record-keeping skills and are methodical and pragmatic
  • You will be able to commit to a temporary assignment as outlined above.
