Overview

JOB TITLE: Laboratory Products Sales Territory Manager – East coast-USA

POSITION REPORTS TO: VP Laboratory Sales, North America

POSITION SUMMARY: This role will be responsible for sales in the Eastern US.

Responsibilities
  • Candidate must reside within the territory, Boston Metro area preferably.
  • Manage and nurture the growth of new and existing Laboratory products clients.
  • Delegate any overflow work to inside Laboratory products sales team.
  • Send sample requests to inside sales Laboratory products sales team.
  • Send quotes when needed.
  • Meet and/or exceed sales goals (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
  • Track and manage all opportunities through the Company CRM System (MS Dynamics).
  • Provide constant positive communication, follow-up, and client satisfaction through site visits, phone, email, and social media.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related activities as requested.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
Qualifications
  • Science background required; Laboratory products background.
  • 3-5 years of successful sales experience with a strong record of performance.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
  • Experience using CRM for pipeline development and opportunity management.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Superior time management and ability to multi-task.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including strong presentation skills.
  • Able to easily change tasks as instructed.
  • Perform additional duties as directed.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 55%.
Education and Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
