JOB TITLE: Laboratory Products Sales Territory Manager – East coast-USA
POSITION REPORTS TO: VP Laboratory Sales, North America
POSITION SUMMARY: This role will be responsible for sales in the Eastern US.
Responsibilities
- Candidate must reside within the territory, Boston Metro area preferably.
- Manage and nurture the growth of new and existing Laboratory products clients.
- Delegate any overflow work to inside Laboratory products sales team.
- Send sample requests to inside sales Laboratory products sales team.
- Send quotes when needed.
- Meet and/or exceed sales goals (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
- Track and manage all opportunities through the Company CRM System (MS Dynamics).
- Provide constant positive communication, follow-up, and client satisfaction through site visits, phone, email, and social media.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related activities as requested.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Science background required; Laboratory products background.
- 3-5 years of successful sales experience with a strong record of performance.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
- Experience using CRM for pipeline development and opportunity management.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Superior time management and ability to multi-task.
- Strong oral and written communication skills including strong presentation skills.
- Able to easily change tasks as instructed.
- Perform additional duties as directed.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 55%.
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Science background required; Laboratory products background.
- 3-5 years of successful sales experience with a strong record of performance.
- CRM usage.
