• Sample receipt and cataloguing on LIMS system.
• Moisture Testing.
• Conductivity testing.
• Voltage breakdown testing.
• Bespoke testing for the oil industry.
• Sample prep for HPLC and ICP.
• Associate Wet chemist work and general lab stewardship.
• Recording of results and report preparation.

Job description

Overview

This Brigg Scientific client are an industrial oil testing laboratory, based close to Chester.

They are currently looking to an extra member of staff to the testing team of their QC laboratory.

Key duties

• Sample receipt and cataloguing on LIMS system
• Moisture Testing
• Conductivity testing
• Voltage breakdown testing
• Bespoke testing for the oil industry.
• Sample prep for HPLC and ICP amongst other analytical techniques
• Associate Wet chemist work and general lab stewardship.
• Recording of results and report preparation.

Working hours

The hours are 8.30am - 5pm Mon - Thursday, with a 4pm finish on Friday.

Pay

Pay rate is £12.21/hr

Qualifications

Candidates with Scientific experience or Qualifications are welcome. Experience/Qualifications in the fields of Chemistry and related subjects will be a distinct advantage.
