A respected inspection company in Dudley is seeking Radiographic Testing Level 1 Technicians. This role offers a basic salary of £27,600 plus shift allowances and opportunities for career progression with additional NDT certifications. Responsibilities

  • Carry out radiographic exposures to standards.
  • Set up and operate film and/or digital radiography equipment.
  • Process radiographs and assist Level 2 personnel during evaluations.
  • Maintain inspection records, equipment logs, and traceability documentation.
  • Adhere to requirements and company radiation protection procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.

Skills

Pertemps Dudley are working with a respected inspection business to recruit Radiographic Testing Level 1 Technicians. This is a great opportunity to develop within an accredited environment, supporting high-integrity inspections across casting components.

Candidates must hold RT Level 1 certification or have relevant practical experience.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out radiographic exposures to standards

  • Process radiographs and assist Level 2 personnel during evaluations
  • Maintain inspection records, equipment logs, and traceability documentation

Shifts available:

We have a number of shift patterns available, including:

  • Rotating
    Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm, rotating to 2pm to 10pm
  • Nights
    Sunday to Thursday 10pm-6am

Salary: Basic salary of £27,600 + 12% shift allowance for rotating, or + 17% shift allowance for nights.
