KS2 Teacher - Year 4 (Tower Hamlets)

Veritas Education is working on behalf of a well-regarded and supportive 2 form entry primary school in Tower Hamlets to recruit an experienced KS2 Teacher for a Year 4 class. This position has been designed to attract a confident and established teacher and is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

The Role:

• Full class responsibility for a Year 4 cohort
• Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
• Managing a class with low SEN, maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour
• Using effective assessment strategies to track progress and inform planning
• Working collaboratively with the parallel Year 4 teacher and wider KS2 team
• Contributing positively to the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS and have proven experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 4
• Be confident in classroom and behaviour management
• Have strong curriculum knowledge and high standards for pupil achievement
• Be reflective, organised, and proactive
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team
• Have post-ECT experience (essential)
