Job description

I am working with a Primary School in Weston-Super-Mare who have recently joined a brand new Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity for a KS1 Teacher to join the school who pride themselves on being a warm, friendly and caring school community who have a great team of supportive staff.

This school is looking for a KS1 teacher to join their school ASAP, covering Maternity Leave.

The Role

The Head Teacher is looking for a highly skilled practitioner who would be excited to work throughout a dynamic team, working closely with other KS1 teachers.

The successful candidate will be an energetic and caring teacher, developing the learning of children in a Year 2 class.

If you are an experienced teacher or an ECT, this role is a good fit for you!

You will be expected to:

  • Be a positive role model.
  • Motivate and encourage children to be independent learners.
  • Have excellent KS1 subject knowledge.
  • Plan and deliver exciting lessons at a high standard.
  • Communicate clearly with parents and other KS1 staff members.
  • Have high expectations of the children and their learning.
