Denholm Bakers is a proud, family-run bakery with over a century of tradition, serving the Wishaw and Motherwell areas with the finest home baking. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team.

Role

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to assist in the daily operations of our busy bakery. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our bakery runs smoothly and maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring it is organised and operational.

Responsibilities

• Washing dishes, pots, and utensils
• Deep-cleaning work surfaces, floors, and equipment
• You will work with dishwashing machines to provide the highest level of cleanliness to bakery equipment
• Washing pots, pans and equipment
• Clean and keep the bakery tidy using cleaning equipment
• Keep storerooms clean and tidy
• Ensure hygiene and health and safety standards are met at all times

What We Are Looking For

• A reliable and punctual individual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A good team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. Be able to work on your own once the bakery staff have left
