Kitchen Porter (Oldbury - Part time)
  • 20 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday 9.15pm to 1:15am
  • £12.21 per hour + Sodexo employee benefits package

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our Sodexo catering team. You’ll play a vital role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and supporting the wider team.

  • Wash and clean kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery.
  • Keep kitchen and service areas clean, safe, and hygienic.
  • Assist with basic food preparation when required.
  • Check deliveries, record temperatures, and store items safely.
  • Support chefs and front-of-house teams as needed.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure smooth service.
Requirements

A strong work ethic and “can-do” attitude. Ability to follow health & safety and food hygiene standards. Good communication and teamwork skills. High personal hygiene and a smart appearance. Desirable but not essential: Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, knowledge of COSHH, or basic food handling skills.
