Job description
Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen including floors, work surfaces and storage areas.
  • Wash, dry and store pots, pans, cutlery and crockery promptly and efficiently.
  • Operate dishwashing equipment safely and correctly.
  • Assist with basic food preparation (such as peeling, chopping or portioning ingredients) under supervision.
  • Empty bins, manage waste and follow recycling procedures.
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are carried out according to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Restock and organise kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Support chefs and front‑of‑house staff during busy service periods.
  • Adhere to health and safety, fire safety and food hygiene regulations.
