Shepherd Neame is looking for a part time Kitchen Porter to join our team, so if you enjoy hospitality but prefer working behind the scenes supporting your colleagues and contributing to the teams overall success; then this may be just the job for you.
Built in 1826 to serve local mill workers, the Millers Arms provides some of the finest food and drink in the heart of the cathedral city of Canterbury, Kent. The riverside pub, within walking distance of the city's top tourist attractions, boasts 12 stylish ensuite bedrooms and it is a great place to stay or relax with a drink or bite to eat.
We know that great kitchen Porters are also a key ingredient to a successful kitchen, so this role will see you working as part of our friendly and supportive team to ensure the delivery of a great and efficient dining experience to our customers.
If you haven’t got any previous experience in this role, please do not worry, so long as that you are confident, committed and you are a great team player, we can train you and teach you everything else that you will need to know.
