Job description
Overview

Roche Health Care are looking for a Kitchen Manager for our Tudor House Care Home in Selby, North Yorkshire.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook and serve quality meals and refreshments for people within the care home, ensuring specialist diets are catered for.
  • Maintain documentation of all food ordered and served.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and store areas along with all equipment.
  • Order stock and maintain stock control within set budgets.
  • Manage and supervise kitchen staff to ensure their roles are adhered to by guidelines set by the company, health and safety and environmental health.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience is required; working in an environment for older people is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills; ability to work as part of a team.
  • NVQ or 706/1, 706/2 is preferred but not essential.
Hours, Salary & Benefits

Hours: 41hrs (Gross) 38.5 hours paid. 07:00–15:00, alternate weekends. Shifts are daytime only; no evening or night work. Salary: Negotiable. Hourly rate will depend on qualifications and experience.
