Job description

Overview

This is a brilliant opportunity to work with a VIP Lounge in the hospitality industry, and to be part of a dedicated team of highly motivated and experienced staff at Stansted Airport.

Salary: £13.00 per hour

Shift Times: 08:30 – 14:30 and 14:30 – 22:30

Working Pattern: 4 on, 2 off; 2 early shifts and 2 late shifts. Full time position, 40 hours per week. Immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation to the spec
• Collecting food items from kitchen and preparing buffet
• Preparing hot and cold drinks
• Adhering to food hygiene standards
• Washing crockery using a dishwasher
• Moving stores and collecting goods from driver deliveries
• Keeping stores tidy
• Removal of non essential waste
• General light cleaning duties
• Sweeping areas to keep tidy

Qualifications

• Ideally, you will have experience within a restaurant, pub, hotel environment or from a catering background.
• You will have experience either as a Kitchen Assistant, Catering Assistant or Kitchen Helper.
• Be able to work a flexible shift pattern
• The ability to commute by public transport to and from Stansted Airport in order to work shifts
