Overview

As General Assistant Maternity Cover for Sodexo at Monteagle Primary School, Burnham Road, Dagenham, RM9 4RB, you will contribute to the smooth running of a fast-paced food and beverage operation. You will be responsible for presenting kitchen supplies in an appealing way and ensuring we offer the best service possible. You will work during sociable hours with public holidays off, including Christmas.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare delicious meals for the school team and pupils.
  • Keep the kitchen and serving areas stocked, clean and hygienic at all times.
  • Support the loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles.
  • Observe food handling and hygiene regulations.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure that all machines and equipment are operated correctly.
  • Uphold the reputation of the company.

Package Description

  • £12.21 per hour
  • 20 hours per week
  • Working pattern: Monday to Friday
  • This role is a fixed-term position for 1 year, covering maternity leave.
  • Term Time only (39 week Working Contract paid over 52 weeks)

Equated pay (spread-over pay) pays contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay over 12 months. Further information provided at interview.
