Aramark UK is looking to hire a Kitchen Assistant to join their fantastic team at Sparsholt College, Winchester, SO21 2NF

This is an exciting, varied full-time role, supporting the Kitchen teams as needed and assisting in the preparation of food.

Aramark provides world-class contract catering services to our extensive list of clients across the UK, including Defence and Judicial, private industry and Education. We are lucky to have some of the best Culinary and Catering talent that the UK has to offer working within our teams.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided in-country for more than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role.

This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week, 5 days over 7 including occasional weekends. Shifts ranging between 07.00 and 19.00, Overtime available.

A day in the life of a Kitchen Assistant:
Delivering food to outlets on-site.
Supporting the Chef, kitchen staff and FOH team where possible.
Ensuring food safety & health and safety are adhered to.
Assisting with deliveries and organizing them in the correct storage areas.
Removing waste from waste containers and disposal in the correct external bins.

You will be set up for success if you have:
Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
You must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided in-country for more than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role, will be required to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
Customer focused and a strong communicator.
Excellent team player with a flexible approach to duties.
