Overview

The Key Account Manager for Industry & Consumer in the UK and Scandinavia will focus on expanding the international customer base, developing new applications using high-performance polymers, and managing technical and commercial support for international projects. Candidates should possess an engineering degree, relevant market expertise, and strong sales skills, along with a commitment to meeting corporate goals. The role involves significant travel (up to 80%) and offers competitive remuneration, including benefits like a company car and pension scheme.

Your Tasks
  • Expansion of our international customer base in the Industry and Consumer sector.
  • Realization of new applications with the company’s high-performance polymers.
  • Technical and commercial customer support, management of international projects.
  • Creation and implementation of short, medium and long-term plans.
  • Realization of corporate goals.
Your Profile
  • Engineering degree in plastics technology, mechanical engineering, economics or a comparable technical education.
  • Relevant market and technical expertise combined with business acumen.
  • Demonstrable ability to develop new applications at new and existing customers.
  • Knowledge of Industry and Consumer markets in the region, especially Healthcare.
  • Experience in injection moulding and the design of plastic components is an advantage.
  • High degree of initiative, commitment and an independent, structured way of working.
  • Results-oriented thinking and acting, as well as resilience and assertiveness.
  • Committed, goal-oriented communication.
  • Good knowledge of English, other languages an advantage.
  • Travel activity up to 80%.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
