Description

As a Key Account Manager, you will drive revenue growth by managing and expanding relationships with an allocated set of key clients. You will work closely with our marketing and partner teams to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to meet or exceed your annual sales target. This high‑impact role requires a results‑driven individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Leadership
  • Develop and execute growth strategies across a defined set of accounts, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
  • Lead quarterly and annual business planning in partnership with Customer Success, identifying growth opportunities, risks, and areas for operational alignment.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of each customer’s business model, objectives, and digital transformation goals.
Revenue Growth & Retention
  • Own and deliver against an annual revenue target of £500K+, through upsell, cross‑sell, and renewal strategies.
  • Drive commercial negotiations, contract extensions, and pricing discussions in line with Amplience’s profitability goals.
  • Forecast revenue accurately and manage a healthy, predictable pipeline.
Collaboration & Cross‑Functional Partnership
  • Work closely with Customer Success Managers, Marketing, Partnerships, and Product teams to deliver cohesive customer experiences and enable success at scale.
  • Lead joint account planning efforts and co‑develop success plans to ensure mutual business value and platform adoption.
  • Champion customer feedback internally to inform product roadmap and service enhancements.
Client Engagement & Executive Relationship Building
  • Cultivate strong, multi‑threaded relationships across client organizations, from senior decision‑makers to operational users.
  • Deliver compelling, consultative sales presentations and business reviews that align customer goals with Amplience solutions.
  • Represent Amplience at key industry events, client onsite meetings, and tradeshows — with up to 50% regional travel and up to 10% international.
Skills, Experience & Mindset
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets of £500K+, ideally in a SaaS or digital commerce environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise account management, business development, or strategic sales.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presence.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and forecasting skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
  • Experience partnering with Customer Success and cross‑functional teams to drive retention and growth.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% regionally and 10% internationally.
