Overview

A company specialising in freight forwarding and supply chain management is seeking a Key Account Coordinator to support the management and growth of one of their key clients. The Key Account Coordinator must have previous experience working in ocean freight / maritime logistics. Also, the Key Account Coordinator will have good attention to detail, strong communication, time management, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic pricing planning to support global distribution
  • Building and enhancing carrier and trade portfolios
  • Support RFQs and pricing updates
  • Support spot quoting & follow up
  • Support with carrier business reviews
  • Coordination with Operations teams on booking escalation and resolution
  • Support in customer business review preparations
  • Other tasks as required
Knowledge, skills and qualifications

Essential:

  • Ocean freight background
  • Good knowledge of ocean carrier landscape
  • An understanding of ocean market and trades
  • Strong communication, time management, and IT skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and have a sense of urgency

Desirable:

  • Good understanding of freight and cargo shipping
  • Dangerous Goods Training completed
  • Experience with management software relating to freight

Salary: £35,000
