Junior Test Development Engineer | Oxford

Our client is looking for a Junior Test Development Engineer. You will work under the guidance of the Technical Manager, with primary duties focused on creating and improving automated testing systems. The role will also require you to develop or build upon a solid understanding of electrical and electronic hardware to provide effective technical support and solutions.

The Role:

• Developing electrical and electronic equipment
• Proficiency in programming with C/C++
• Producing clear and accurate test documentation
• Building and assembling electronic or electrical prototypes
• Carrying out wiring tasks for electrical assemblies
• Identifying, specifying, and sourcing required components
• Overseeing and delivering individual projects

Key Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of electrical and electronic design fundamentals
• Understanding of electro‑mechanical design concepts
• Experience working with National Instruments' LabVIEW software
• Ability to interpret and work from circuit diagrams
• Familiarity with integrating test and measurement equipment
