With a reputation built on technical excellence and client-focused delivery, they take pride in a portfolio that spans hi‑rise residential (up to 50 storeys), commercial, mixed‑use developments, and bespoke client‑led projects.

What sets them apart
  • End-to-End Expertise: The consultancy covers full project lifecycles—from initial concept design through to site supervision and completion—promoting a holistic approach to engineering.
  • Balance of Creativity and Constructability: dedicated to crafting designs that not only innovate but are practical and grounded in real-world execution.
  • Sustainable Performance: Bringing sustainable design to the forefront, the firm actively incorporates considerations like material efficiency and embodied carbon into project delivery.
  • Collaborative & Nurturing Culture: They operate in small to mid-sized project teams that allow direct access to mentorship, strong inter-disciplinary collaboration, and direct client engagement early in your career.
The Role

As a Structural Engineer with approximately two years of postgraduate experience, you’ll play a vital role within one of the delivery teams, supported by senior engineers and management to hone your technical expertise in a dynamic yet supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce structural designs and calculations across steel, concrete, masonry, and timber projects.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation—including reports, drawings, and specifications—in line with relevant British Standards (BS) and Eurocodes (UK-compliant).
  • Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure structural integration across disciplines is seamless.
  • Undertake design reviews and quality assurance checks of junior colleagues' outputs.
  • Perform site visits for feasibility analysis, inspections, and to support project progress.
  • Participate in technical and client meetings, supporting presentations to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to internal improvements by refining design processes or enhancing digital workflows and toolsets.
Your Profile

Essential

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Approximately 2 years of relevant structural design experience, including the use of analysis software (e.g., Tekla, SCIA, SAP2000, IDEA Statica) and CAD/BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Solid understanding of steel, concrete, masonry, and/or timber design in line with UK regulatory standards.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable producing technical reports and engaging with teams/clients.
  • A proactive, collaborative attitude, with a keen focus on learning and professional growth.

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Familiarity with sustainability metrics or embodied carbon assessment tools.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary project settings and client-facing interactions.
  • Professional accreditation or eligibility progress toward ICE or IStructE chartership.
What You’ll Gain
  • A structured career pathway with regular development feedback, CPD opportunities, and support towards chartership.
  • Exposure to a mix of projects—from urban residential schemes and commercial refurbishments to industrial and education-focused developments.
  • A culture of openness and flexibility, with hybrid working from their modern Leeds office.
  • Competitive benefits including pension contributions, performance-related bonuses, and continuous professional development.
