Are you a recent school leaver or university graduate living in or around Reading? Are you looking to kickstart your career but haven’t yet found the right opportunity?

This is a full-time, entry‑level role designed for people who are keen to build real experience from day one. You don’t need loads of experience. We’re looking for the right attitude, energy, and willingness to learn.

As a Junior Programme Delivery Manager, you’ll play a hands‑on role delivering programmes that support young people into the world of work. You’ll work directly with students, schools, employers, and partners — building confidence, professional skills, and real‑world experience from day one.

Who We Are – Pathway CTM

Pathway CTM is a fast‑growing, mission‑led organisation focused on helping young people find the right path into the world of work.

We deliver events, workshops, mentoring, and application support, all designed to help students explore opportunities and connect with employers who genuinely care about early talent. Young people come first in everything we do, which is why leading employers and partners choose to work with us.

If you enjoy variety, care about people, and want a role with real purpose, this is the perfect place to start your career.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be part of our energetic and supportive Delivery Team, with no two days looking the same. One day you might be delivering engaging workshops in schools, and the next supporting events, mentoring students 1:1, or working behind the scenes to ensure programmes run smoothly.

You’ll represent Pathway CTM in schools and at events (primarily around the M4 corridor), so you’ll need to be confident travelling, presenting, and communicating with a wide range of people. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, wants to build strong communication skills, and loves making a real impact.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging workshops and sessions in schools
  • Supporting students through applications and 1:1 mentoring
  • Helping to plan and deliver events with employers, schools, and councils
  • Working closely with the Delivery Team to ensure programmes run smoothly
  • Acting as a key point of contact for schools across the UK
  • Building relationships with employers and external partners
  • Bringing energy, ideas, and enthusiasm to everything you do
What We’re Looking For
  • A genuine interest in mentoring and supporting young people
  • Confidence speaking with students, teachers, parents, and employers
  • Good organisation and time‑management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • A self‑starter who takes initiative
  • Comfortable using Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
  • Friendly, supportive team that genuinely cares
  • Hands‑on experience with leading employers and national brands
  • A role with real variety — no two weeks are the same
  • Hybrid working (2 days London/Pimlico office, 3 days WFH)
  • Monthly socials, plus Christmas & Summer parties
  • Ongoing learning and development opportunities
  • The chance to make a real difference in young people’s lives
