Qualifications

• Experience of working in an IT support environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced 1st and basic 2nd line support to all users.
• Investigate and diagnose IT faults and problems including hardware and software.
• Manage the flow of tickets through the helpdesk ensuring effective triage.
• Install and configure networked PCs, laptops, and peripheral devices.

Skills

Knowledge of Office

Computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of staff

Ability to learn and adapt quickly

Knowledge of ITIL processes

Education

NVQ/GCSE in a computer related subject
