Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Lawyer to join the compliance function of the team at Teledyne. You will report to the General Counsel for Digital Imaging (Europe, EMEA and APAC).

Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Support the implementation and monitoring of compliance programs, including our ethics and data privacy programs.
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating legal risks related to business operations.
  • Maintain corporate records and filings.
  • Support the preparation of board resolutions and ensure compliance with corporate governance standards.
  • Provide day-to-day legal advice to internal teams on regulatory compliance and general corporate matters.
  • Conduct legal research and draft memos, policies, and guidelines as needed.
  • Assist in managing disputes and litigation, including coordinating with external counsel when necessary.
  • Help resolve internal and external legal issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist with due diligence of potential acquisition targets and the integration of newly acquired businesses.
  • Reviewing and advising on NDAs and other commercial agreements.
  • Help deliver training sessions to staff on legal topics, such as data protection, intellectual property, or contract management.
