Overview

We have been retained to recruit a Finance Assistant for our client based in central Birmingham.

Are you an AAT qualified Finance Assistant, with a background in a similar role? Public sector experience is a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing payment processing function within agreed processes
• To be compliant with organisations accounting and financial policy
• Assist senior officers in producing, analysing data and presenting materials
• Input date on various systems, maintain records and manage a database
• Undertake administrative tasks to support the department
• Communicate with customers and internal departments

Employment details

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract. A permanent opportunity is available for the right candidate. This is full-time 36.5 hours, Monday to Friday.

Salary: up to £29,000 (pro-rata)
