About Us

My client is a UK-based manufacturing firm specialising in precision-formed components for a range of industries. They are seeking a motivated Junior Engineer to join their validation team.

Role Overview

My client is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Engineer to support the manufacturing teams. You will be responsible for assisting in the validation of customer drawings and ensuring that designs align with internal manufacturing capabilities. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their engineering career within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

This position is NOT a graduate role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Technical Engineering Manager with all validation activities
  • Document validation work, test results, deviations, and corrective actions; maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Ensure customer designs are compatible with in-house manufacturing processes
  • Work closely with production, quality control, and engineering teams to coordinate validation activities and support manufacturing readiness
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business
  • Participate in process changeovers or the introduction of new production lines, ensuring validation requirements are met before full-scale production
Skills & Qualifications
  • Ideally, hold an engineering qualification (not essential)
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to produce clear documentation and reports
  • Ability to work collaboratively with production and quality teams

£24,000 - £30,000 depending on skills and experience
