A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Clinical Fellow in Renal Cancer for a 12-month position. This role combines research with clinical responsibility, including patient care and trial recruitment. Applications are invited for a Clinical Fellow in Renal Cancer to work within the Academic Oncology Department at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. The 12‑month post combines 6 months as a renal research fellow with a focus on renal trial recruitment (also supporting oncology outpatient clinics) and 6 months as a Clinical Fellow (covering oncology and palliative care inpatients). The post is available from August 2025, for 12 months. Posts are based at the Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead, London, on a full‑time basis.
The Royal Free began as a pioneering organisation and continues to play a leading role among UK hospital trusts. Established in 1828 by William Marsden, the hospital has historically provided care free of charge and remained open during past epidemics. The trust offers a wide range of local and specialist services, including cancer, plastic and neurosurgery, blood disorders and infectious diseases. It is a campus of UCL Medical School and conducts important medical research. The trust helps to train doctors, nurses, midwives and many other clinical and non‑clinical professionals. It is part of the academic health science centre, UCLPartners.
