Overview

Junior Buyer - International Procurement. Our client is a leading supplier of electrical products including kitchen & home appliances, lighting, haircare, and more, serving wholesalers, retailers, and e-commerce partners across the UK and Ireland. They are expanding their Buying Team and offering an opportunity to build a career in the electrical industry.

This role provides hands-on experience with global sourcing, supplier relationship management, and international supply chain operations. Ideal for someone eager to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a focus on innovation and continuous learning.

Responsibilities
  • Support international procurement activities and contribute to the end-to-end sourcing process.
  • Assist with supplier relationship management and performance reviews.
  • Contribute to global sourcing projects and supply chain improvements.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Previous Buying or Merchandising experience preferred.
  • An electrical or engineering background would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook; familiarity with graphic/image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM or MRP systems is advantageous; full training will be provided on our in-house MRP platform.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative to solve problems and improve processes.
  • A proactive mind-set with a commitment to continuous self-improvement.
  • Willingness to travel internationally several times a year.
Hours

Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (1 hr lunch)

Holidays

Holidays: 21 days (which increase to 25 with increased length of service) + Bank Holidays
