New opportunity has arisen on an exciting client site in Bridgwater, working as a Junior Audio Visual Engineer, to play an active role within this team, assisting senior engineers on complex tasks while taking ownership of simpler operational duties. You'll be expected to perform daily checks, respond to reactive calls, and provide first‑line AV support to end users.
While training and mentoring will be provided, this position requires a confident and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently when needed.
We are seeking a technically minded individual with a developing understanding of Audio‑Visual and Unified Communications systems. You should have some prior exposure to AV, IT, or related technical environments and the confidence to troubleshoot straightforward faults under your own initiative.
This role involves travel to various sites within Bridgwater, with occasional trips to Bristol when needed.
Flexibility around shift patterns and reactive service schedules will also be required. The company operates a shuttle bus service into their main offices, which may result in additional commute time; therefore, living within one hour of the area is preferred.
