Fire Door Joiners Needed - Glasgow & Central Belt

CNX Recruitment are currently looking for competent and experienced joiners across Glasgow and the Central Belt for ongoing fire door installation and maintenance work.

This is long-term work with excellent rates for tradespeople who can deliver high-quality installations in line with current fire safety standards.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for the installation, adjustment, and maintenance of fire doors in both occupied and unoccupied commercial and residential buildings.

Work will include:

• Full door set installations and replacements
• Upgrading existing doors to meet BM TRADA Q-Mark standards
• Ensuring compliance with fire stopping, intumescent seals, smoke seals, ironmongery, and gap tolerances
• Completing accurate installation and maintenance records as required

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience fitting and maintaining fire doors (minimum 2 years preferred)
• Valid BM TRADA Q-Mark or equivalent fire door installer certification
• Good understanding of current fire safety regulations and passive fire protection standards
• Ability to identify and rectify non-compliant doors and components
• Own tools, PPE, and transport
• Checkable references from recent fire door projects

Pay & Details:

£23.00 - £24.00 per hour (CIS or PAYE available)

Work available across Glasgow, Edinburgh, and the Central Belt

Ongoing, long-term projects with consistent weekly hours
