Qualifications

  • Fluency in Japanese and English, written and spoken.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows OS and Office Suite.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in IT hardware.
  • Knowledge of ITSM and service delivery best practices.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and networking.

Responsibilities

Description

We are looking for a Japanese-speaking IT Engineer to deliver exceptional IT support across our high‑performance environment. This role will provide advanced desktop support and ensure seamless communication with Japanese‑speaking users and partners, helping maintain operational excellence across the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver responsive and effective IT support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Japanese‑speaking users and partners ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, escalating where necessary.
  • Support Active Directory administration (user accounts, permissions, group policies).
  • Assist with planned maintenance, upgrades, and patching of end‑user systems.
  • Document incidents and resolutions using ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, IFS Assyst).
  • Provide remote support for users across multiple locations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams on escalations and small‑scale projects.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security standards and assist with backup and recovery processes.
