Qualifications

• Experience with maintaining premises both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds and car park areas.
• Perform carpet shampooing.
• Clean walls and light fittings.
• Strip and seal floor surfaces.
• Replenish toiletries in bathrooms.
• Clean kitchen extraction units.

Job description

Jobstore are looking for an experienced Janitor to join one of our longstanding clients based in North Manchester.

You will be working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday 08.00am-16.00pm. All applicants must hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate.

To undertake duties concerned with the maintenance and care of the premises both internally and externally, so as to ensure a safe and satisfactory working environment.

Main Duties will Include:

• Grounds and car park areas as appropriate.
• Carpet shampooing.
• Wall cleaning.
• Stripping and sealing floor surfaces, using spray burnishing and other automatic equipment.
• Blinds and light fittings.
• Replenishing roller towels, soap, toilet rolls and other toiletries.
• Kitchen extraction units.
