Overview

The IT Technician will play a key role in supporting the technology needs of a not-for-profit organisation. This temporary position is based on the outskirts of Liverpool.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st line support on site
• Help set up IT systems and equipment
• Provide technical support to staff, ensuring IT systems run efficiently
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks
• Assist with IT-related projects to improve organisational efficiency
• Monitor IT systems to identify and address potential issues proactively
• Maintain accurate records of IT equipment and software licences
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy protocols
• Provide training and guidance to staff on IT systems and tools

Profile

• A successful IT Technician should have:
• An enhanced DBS
• Experience of first line support
• Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
