Hours: 37 hours per week. All year round.

Grade: 5, point 11-17

Beechen Cliff School is a high performing state day and boarding school based in Bath in the South West of England. The school is seeking to appoint a Level 1 ICT Technician who is energetic and innovative to work within our ICT technical services team to provide high quality support and ensure the effective and efficient provision of ICT across the Bath Hub. This role will also provide the opportunity to work across other schools in the Trust. Applicants should be enthusiastic about working in a friendly school environment, supporting colleagues and pupils, as part of a motivated and professional team.

The following qualifications and experience are desirable:

  • Qualifications in FITS Practice or ITIL foundation level is desirable.
  • Experience of working with a virtualised server environment and desktop applications including MS Office and knowledge of supporting the current Windows desktop operating system is essential.
  • Working knowledge of standard networking technologies including WAN and LAN.
