Overview

Ingfield Manor School is a non-maintained special school and part of Salutem Care and Education who have services across England and Wales supporting adults and children in residential and educational environments. Based in its our own idyllic grounds, Ingfield Manor School offers extensive specialist facilities with the aim to provide an exceptional learning environment, helping children and young people fulfil their potential. Facilities include woodland and outdoor classroom space, high specification sensory room and swimming pool. About The Role

IT Support Technician (Part-Time, Term Time Only)

Hours: 20 hours per week, Term Time Only plus 1 additional week during school holidays (40 weeks total)

Salary: £11,136 – £11,856 per annum (£12.21 – £13.00 per hour)

Equivalent full-time salary: £25,397 – £27,040 (52 weeks)

Contract Type: Permanent, subject to 6-month probation

We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Support Technician to join our growing team. As our school continues to expand, there may be opportunities to increase working hours in the future. Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support across the school
• Install and configure PCs, laptops, printers, and other ICT devices
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
• Support specialist communication software (e.g. Mind Express, Clicker 8)
• Configure and maintain the central Print Server and resolve printing issues
• Set up and support AV equipment including projectors and interactive whiteboards
• Maintain and improve network infrastructure (routers, switches, cabling, Wi-Fi)
• Manage IT consumables and liaise with suppliers and central IT support
• Participate in relevant training and development opportunities
