Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st/2nd Line Support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Support regional offices through calls, emails, and remotely.
  • Manage onboarding/offboarding, provisioning devices, training staff.
  • Order and manage IT supplies ensuring stock levels are maintained.
  • Maintain printers and the printer server, resolving issues.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, setup, and maintenance of phone systems.

IT Support Engineer

Central London | Office Based

£26,000 - £30,000 per annum

Is this the IT Support Engineer role for you?

Crone Corkill are partnered with a financial firm who are looking to add an IT Support Engineer to their team on a permanent basis. Your ideal background could include a recently completed IT apprenticeship, and/or an interest in data analysis.

Focusing on 1st & 2nd Line IT Support, you’ll primarily support Microsoft technologies & internal systems, handle user issues/queries face to face, on the phone and remotely, onboard/offboard end users and collaborate with the rest of the IT team. Any exposure to AI tools such as Copilot are advantageous.

Please note that this is an office based role, with daily travel to the Piccadilly Circus area expected. With time, there may be an opportunity to work from home once per week.

What will you do as an IT Support Engineer?
  • Provide 1st/2nd Line Support for any hardware, software and network issues, escalating where necessary
  • Support regional offices via call, email and remotely
  • Support onboarding and offboarding, provisioning devices and training staff
  • Order and manage IT supplies and consumables, ensuring stock levels are maintained
  • Maintain printers and the printer server, ensuring efficient operation and problems are resolved quickly
  • Support phone systems, assisting with troubleshooting, setup and maintenance
