Role Overview

We're hiring an IT Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of end‑to‑end solutions across applications, data, integration, and infrastructure. You'll guide architectural decisions from requirements capture and high‑level design through to implementation and sustainment, ensuring alignment with technical, security, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end solution architecture across multiple domains
• Produce high‑level designs, interface specifications, and technical proposals
• Support platform selection and buy‑vs‑build evaluations
• Ensure compliance with architecture principles, security, and regulatory standards
• Engage with stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams on technical decisions

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect on large, complex programmes
• Strong background across application, data, integration, and infrastructure architecture
• Solid knowledge of integration concepts (SOA, ESB, XML, Web Services, MQ)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Exposure to logistics or supply chain technology
• Familiarity with WMS, TMS, ERP, procurement, or analytics systems
• Knowledge of TOGAF, MODAF, or ArchiMate
• Experience with compliance documentation in regulated environments
• Background working within CMMI Level 3 environments

Clearance Requirements

• BPSS is required to start
• SC clearance required for the role
