IT Security Manager

Our client part of a globally respected group and a comprehensive provider of marine and offshore services has an exciting opportunity for an IT Security Manager. This is a hands‑on management role that requires a deep understanding of IT security technologies, processes, and policies. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with legislative and industry standards, managing security incidents, and driving the development of the IT security strategy.

Person specification
  • Extensive experience in IT Security
  • Strong knowledge of networks, cloud computing, and system installation/configuration
  • Familiarity with data protection legislation (e.g. GDPR)
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring IT Security teams
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ideally CISSP certified or working towards this
  • Experience with ISO 27001 and conducting audits is desirable
  • International/global experience is highly desirable
