Job summary

A leading figurehead in the food sector in the UK is seeking an IT Project Manager (Transformation Business/Operations) to join their newly created IT PMO on a hybrid contract for 6 months. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalising IT projects across multiple business domains including finance and supply chain. Ideal candidates will have a degree in IT or Computer Science and proven project management experience in IT environments. Offering a rate of £550 to £650 per day.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in a related field (Information Technology, Computer Science etc.).
• Experience in Project Management in an IT environment.
• Strong familiarity with IT project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope, IT goals, and deliverables that support business goals.
• Develop full-scale IT project plans and associated communications documents.
• Effectively communicate IT project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
• Develop budget and resource requirements to achieve project goals.
• Proactively manage changes in IT project scope and devise contingency plans.
