The Astra Trident team at Client is seeking a Senior Scrum Master/Agile Coach to lead the development of an innovative and unique solution that solves the challenges of persistent data consumption for container technologies. Responsibilities
- Facilitate communication, collaboration, and dependencies between multiple Agile teams to support sprint commitments and delivery.
- Evaluate team metrics and make recommendations to continuously optimize and improve performance of teams.
- Facilitate getting work done without coercion and dictating.
- Facilitate impediment resolution in a timely manner so that the team can focus on delivery.
- Guide and coach multiple scrum teams on Agile principles and mindset while empowering the teams to become self-managing.
- Lead and facilitate team ceremonies including daily scrum, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
- Help the team define, agree, and adhere to agile/scrum best practices to successfully deliver high-quality product on time.
- Help identify and mitigate risks to meet sprint goals.
- Support the Product Owner and Engineering teams to prioritize and refine the product backlog.
- Measure team progress against delivery plans and make reports visible to scrum teams and stakeholders.
Core Qualifications
- 7+ years' experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
- Extensive experience leading remote and distributed agile teams across time zones.
- Hands-on experience with multiple agile development methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices. Ability to assess team maturity, identify gaps and coach teams on agile best practices.
- Excellent communication and social skills with ability to positively influence others.
- Strong organization and facilitation skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with team members in different time zones.
- Advanced Jira and Confluence experience.
- Thorough understanding of ways to measure and report team progress against delivery plans/timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certifications.
- Experience with Scaled Agile methodologies and frameworks (SAFe, LeSS etc.)
- Experience working on projects developed using system-level languages (C/C++/Go etc.)
- Experience working on cloud-native storage applications or applications developed for data management.
