Who we are:

We’re not just talking about making a difference, we’re making it happen. We generate dispatchable, renewable power and create stable energy in an uncertain world. Building on our proud heritage, we have ambition to become the global leader in sustainable biomass and carbon removals.

You’ll be joining our teams of practical doers, future thinkers and business champions. We’re enabling a zero carbon, lower cost energy future for all, and working hard to decarbonise the planet for generations to come.

About the role:

You’ll take ownership of documenting systems and processes within the technology tower, while actively contributing to configuration, maintenance, and the smooth operation of critical technologies. From installing, configuring, and testing environments to ensuring day‑to‑day patching, monitoring, and performance management, you’ll keep everything running at peak capacity and compliance.

You’ll monitor the environment to get full visibility into performance and availability, producing reviews, reports, and audit logs that demonstrate service quality. You’ll collaborate with Group IT to resolve escalations, support disaster recovery testing, and provide audit evidence, all while driving continual service improvement.

With a customer‑centric approach, you’ll embrace IT Service Management practices, optimise infrastructure through ongoing analysis, and deliver resilient, compliant, and high‑performing technology services that make a real impact.

Who we’re looking for:

To be successful in this role you’ll need to have a number of years of experience in a similar role along with technical experience in End User Compute including –

  • VDI
  • Desktop and mobile hardware and software
  • Collaboration tools
  • Identity and access management / security
  • Monitoring, event management and other operational tools
  • Meeting room and AV technology
  • Managed print
Rewards and benefits:

As you help us to shape the future, we’ve shaped our rewards and benefits to help you thrive and support your lifestyle. If successful in this role you’ll get:

  • A discretionary bonus depending on company performance
  • Private Healthcare
  • SAYE (Sharesave): discretionary scheme from time to time
  • Personal accident cover
  • Group personal pension plan where we’ll pay up to 10%
  • Holiday 25 days plus bank holidays
  • Reimbursement of the cost of your annual membership of one relevant and appropriate professional body
