A permanent IT Account Manager role within the IT services sector, supporting businesses in their digital transformation. Based in Aberdeen, this position involves building strong client relationships, creating technology roadmaps, and presenting solutions to drive business success. Ideal for candidates with experience in MSP environments, cloud and security technologies, and client-focused account management.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Leading quarterly business reviews with clients.
  • Developing detailed technology roadmaps with commercial recommendations.
  • Presenting proposals and roadmaps to clients clearly and confidently.
  • Handling client inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.
  • Communicating technology updates and company changes to clients.
  • Collecting client feedback and implementing improvements to enhance their experience.
  • Collaborating with Technical Teams to provide accurate and timely advice.
  • Staying informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Identifying opportunities within existing client accounts for new solutions and services.

Applicants to this role require:

  • Proven experience in customer success or account management within an MSP or similar environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience presenting to and negotiating with C-level executives.
  • Ability to simplify technical discussions and communicate complex solutions clearly.
  • Solid understanding of core IT products, ideally including: M365, Windows Server, Azure, security solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate client business goals into actionable technology strategies.
  • Strong presentation skills and a results-oriented approach.
