IP COUNSEL

GLOBAL CREATIVE BRAND

Our client wishes to hire a talented IP Litigator to join a world-leading creative brand loved by millions worldwide. This is a pivotal new role at the heart of the Legal team, protecting the characters, designs, and reputation that drive our client's success.

What you’ll do :

• Work with the Senior IP Counsel and IP Counsel APAC to protect the master brand and the product designs globally
• Work on IP litigation in UK, EU, cease and desists, settlements and proceedings.
• Work with the Brand Protection Manager on legal solutions to counterfeits online and offline including managing the performance of the service providers for online takedowns and the relationships with marketplaces.
• Work with the IP Legal team members responsible for the IP portfolio to ensure that our protection and enforcement work together.
• Work with external counsel to build strong cases backed by evidence

About you :

• Qualified solicitor, indicatively with 4-10 years’ PQE, with solid IP Litigation experience — from a law firm or in-house
• Confident in contentious IP, evidence gathering and complex case management
• Organised, collaborative, pragmatic, with a keen eye for detail — able to translate IP law into commercial solutions
• Interested in digital IP protection trends and emerging enforcement tech
• Relevant experience in consumer / luxury brands will be a big advantage
