Qualifications

• CSCS / SSSTS card would be an advantage.
• Some exposure to IoT, telecommunications or instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical wiring checks against electrical schematics.
• Provide technical support to other trades and electrical contractors.
• Carry out troubleshooting to diagnose system defects.
• Travel to customer sites around the UK.

Qualifications & Experience

Apprenticeship, HNC / HND or Degree in Building Services, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant trade skills training in a related field such as IoT, telecommunications or instrumentation.

CSCS / SSSTS card would be an advantage

Responsibilities

Ability to perform physical wiring checks against electrical schematics along with panel and drawing modifications. Provide technical support to other trades and electrical contractors and carry out troubleshooting to diagnose system defects.

Experience of commissioning Power and Energy Management Systems with some understanding of IT systems, networks, serial communications, Modbus, or BACnet protocols.

Knowledge of Tridium BMS software would be an advantage but is not essential as training and certification will be provided.

• Working as part of a team to deploy IoT systems in critical infrastructure buildings and facilities around the UK.
• Providing support to customers and to other members of the team.
• Travelling to customer sites around the UK, as well as working from our central office location. UK Driving license is required due to nationwide travel.

The successful individual will be driven and technically confident to deliver some exciting projects, whilst using the latest technologies and developments across multiple sectors, such as commercial offices, data centres and HV Substations.

Some exposure to control systems, telecommunications, automation or integrated systems.
