Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is looking for an iOS Platform Engineer for a remote contract in the UK. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial experience in SwiftUI, a solid understanding of Combine, and familiarity with structured concurrency using async/await. Responsibilities include delivering well-defined iOS features, collaborating with senior engineers, and managing dependencies with Swift Package Manager. The contract is for 3 months with an immediate start, paying £300 a day, outside IR35.

Qualifications

Overview

We are looking for an iOS Platform Engineer who can operate with a solid level of autonomy and deliver high‑quality, well‑structured work with minimal direction. You’ll join a mature engineering environment where tasks are clearly defined, expectations are transparent, and you’ll be trusted to execute effectively alongside senior members of the team.

This role suits someone who is confident in modern iOS development practices, comfortable owning their deliverables, and able to contribute to a clean, scalable platform architecture.

Key Responsibilities
