Position Summary

The European Private Credit team is seeking to hire an Associate into its investment team.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will work with senior members of MSPC to assess the risk/reward of credit opportunities through full diligence consisting of in‑depth sector and company research.
  • You will assist and lead where appropriate the drafting of investment memoranda, including the independent construction of financial forecasts and valuation models.
  • You are expected to fully participate in the credit documentation process and develop your knowledge of legal and structural topics as you grow in the role.
  • You will start/continue to build your external network to develop your potential to originate transactions in the medium/long term. You will also collaborate across internal business units in the sourcing of potential investment opportunities.
  • You will actively monitor portfolio company results and maintain a dialogue with management and sponsors. You will also assist in investor reporting.
  • You will participate in the fundraising efforts of the European Private Credit platform, including through the redaction of key commercial documents.
  • You will assist in the development of junior team members through coaching.
Your Profile
  • You have experience in private credit, leveraged finance, private equity and/or investment banking in a tier‑1 institution.
  • You have strong academic credentials from a globally recognised university.
  • You have a full mastery of the MS Office suite, including excellent financial modelling skills.
  • Your business English is excellent. Fluency in another European language (particularly German and/or French) is preferred.

  • You are able to work and think independently under time constraints. You have great attention to detail whilst being able to keep the high‑level picture.
  • You thrive in a team‑based environment with multiple stakeholders. You are self‑aware and open to feedback. You are sufficiently confident to challenge opinions from peers and seniors.
  • You have strong written and verbal presentation skills.
  • You have an investor mindset, thinking of opportunities as investments instead of deals.
